Spoor2 is a social employment company who provides green services. They are looking for a more sustainable solution for their green waste treatment.

Therefore, RELEAF and Spoor2 started the GrasVezel project. In this project, funded by the Province of East-Flanders, mowings provided by Spoor2 will be processed by RELEAF. The resulting fibers will be used as raw materials for circular building solutions.

Main research questions are the required pre-treatment of the mowings before processing and the after-treatment to meet the specifications set by the customers.
